There is something for everyone to do in Elviria, whether you are looking forward to simply lazing around on a sun bed with a cocktail, or you want to get active with a great round of golf or a game of tennis.

The area is very exclusive and is also home to the area’s only Michelin-starred restaurant called El Largo. Restaurant El Largo is set in the stunning Greenlife Golf resort and is surrounded by beautiful lakes – the perfect destination for that special occasion.
When you arrive in Elviria you will find everything you need including supermarkets, restaurants, bars, schools, tennis clubs, swimming pools, golf courses and shops. In the village centre you will also find a town hall, post office and more shops to cater for your needs.
Just a short drive from Elviria you will find the lovely port of Cabopino, which is lined with fishing boats and yachts. If you are lucky enough to have your very own craft, then moorings are available at Puerto Cabopino to people living in the Elviria area.
The small and picturesque port is surrounded by a selection of excellent restaurants and bars and makes a great destination for an afternoon or evening meal in a beautiful setting.

Nightlife in Elviria is fantastic and the famous Nikki Beach bar and restaurant draws crowds from across the wide Marbella and Mijas areas. Nikki Beach occupies a beautiful stretch of golden sand at the front of the Don Carlos Hotel, one of the Elviria areas major landmarks.
A few hundred yards down the beach from Nikki Beach, you will find another excellent restaurant called The Beach House. Recently refurbished and offering a diverse menu, The Beach House is another favourite destination in the Elviria area.
On the mountain side of Elviria you will also find the popular Fluid bar, where you can enjoy a cold drink in comfortable surroundings. The Fluid bar is also close to lots of local amenities, a late opening supermarket and a variety of places to eat.
There are a number of other places to eat and drink higher up in the Elviria Hills, close to the El Soto golf resort, where you can take in some stunning mountain scenery at the same time.
During the day, if you are not playing golf or enjoying the beach facilities, the major La Canada shopping centre is just a short drive away. You can while away most of the day at La Canada exploring the Spanish shops as well as seeing some of the UK´s favourite high street names. Zara, Mango, H&M and Dorothy Perkins are just a few of the big names that you will find there. La Canada is actually the biggest shopping centre in the region and it also has a wide variety of home furnishing stores, sports shops and a very large supermarket.

When you have finished your shopping you can take a break at one of the many excellent café bars within the centre.
Elviria is also home to the Hospital Costa del Sol, a modern and well equipped hospital which is used to dealing with patients from many different countries. The hospital also has a team of translators who work with patients from around the world who are unable to communicate in Spanish.
For schooling, Elviria also offers excellent educational facilities at both Spanish-speaking schools and the English International School, which teaches primary and secondary-age children.
Elviria is a highly sought after area, which has attracted residents from all over the world. It is very popular as a holiday destination as well as with people looking to buy a second or holiday homes. It’s proximity to all the amenities of Marbella make it an excellent choice for both.
